Psychotherapy differs for everyone but the primary focus is creating a safe space where you can freely express your private thoughts and feelings. In general, therapy will allow you to learn more about yourself and your relationships, and to identify strategies for coping with difficulties. As your therapist, I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings as they arise, connect them to experiences in your past and present, and support you in making changes to promote happiness and well-being.
Psychotherapy rates will be discussed during your initial consultation. I am contracted with select insurance companies. I am also happy to provide all necessary documentation to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Individuals who have out-of-network benefits are often reimbursed between 50% to 90% for psychotherapy after their deductible is met.
The first step to working together is scheduling an initial consultation using one of the contact methods below:
Weekly therapy sessions are 45 minutes. Our initial meetings are an opportunity for you to get to know me better and determine if treatment with me is the right fit for you.
The most important ingredient to successful psychotherapy is a strong connection with your therapist. I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which to learn more about yourself and make meaningful change. I have a wide range of experience to draw from when working collaboratively to meet your goals and remove barriers to living your most fulfilling life.

If you need to cancel your session, I ask that you do so 24 hours prior to the session. If you are unable to cancel with this advance notice, you will be responsible for the cost of your session unless we are able to reschedule within the same week. Please note that insurance companies will not reimburse you for missed session fees.
As a psychologist, I do not have the ability to prescribe medication; however, if it is determined that you would benefit from the addition of medication, I will make a referral to a psychiatrist to best meet your needs. Some people who at first believe they need medications find that their symptoms are greatly relieved by talking with a psychologist. Others benefit most from a combination of therapy and medication.
I am currently providing services virtually through a confidential and secure telehealth platform.
